About the founder, Curt Hansen
Curt Hansen is a Broadway performer turned educator whose career spans major productions including Hairspray, Next to Normal, Kinky Boots, and nearly a decade performing as Fiyero in Wicked. A small‑town Wisconsin native, Curt built his triple‑threat foundation through determination and late‑start training, learning early that “you have to sing, act and dance” to succeed in musical theatre. His experience performing under pressure (once learning full Broadway choreography in just 3–4 days) shaped his belief that coachability, confidence, and willingness to try are what set performers apart.
Now retired from performing, Curt channels his passion into teaching young dancers and pre‑professional performers. As he shared in an interview with StageLync, “reflecting back on it is really inspiring to help people get there… we’re changing lives in a different way.”
Through 567Sing, Curt brings his industry knowledge, audition insight, and lived Broadway experience to help dancers build reliable vocal technique and prepare for the professional stage.
